February Kindness Month 2021

WOW- Woodland Elementary sure knows how to express Kindness!

All month long, students, staff and families took part in activities expressing kindness within our school and surrounding communities.

We had a full, busy month...From our parents volunteering to deck out our school in Kindness decor, to students and staff wearing Kindness T-shirts all month, our kindness rocks created at school but placed all over the city. To our Random Act of Kindness day gift of balloons placed at our neighbor school Glacier Hills Elementary, to kids checking off Kindness Challenge acts and earning hearts for our school tree.  With Mrs Carlson's wonderful bedtime story read-alouds for families, our families/staff donating 1,670 lbs of food items (that's 400 meals) to our local Open Door Pantry, our whole school enjoying a movie/stories around the kindness theme, and to our Eagan mayor declaring our school a designated Kindness School.
